Transformation: Top Ten
Are you serious about getting into a tip top shape? Are you ready to start building your future on success instead of failures? Forget about what happened before this moment. Forget about how many times you tried and failed before. Today is a new day—which means, you get to start fresh and start nailing success!!
Today, let’s focus on weight loss and health goals: This is just as perfect day as any to start your personal transformation. And to help you, I have compiled a top ten small things to do and remember to ensure success!
Visit this blog regularly for motivation. For now, here area top ten things to remember if you are going to do this!
- Drink lots of clear plain water
- Eat or drink something nutritious within 1 hour of waking.
- Eat small meals through out the day.
- Take a multivitamin daily.
- Workout daily. Yes, 7 days a week—10 minutes each day is better than no workout!
- Eliminate all junk food – this includes frozen weight watcher meals! (Do you know what goes in there? No, you just trust they are telling you everything — stop buying that and start eating real food!)
- Eat all your fruits before 4:00 pm
- Get 5 hours of sleep every night. And before you get to bed, you state the time you want to wake up and say “I will wake up at 5:00 a.m. in the morning fresh and ready to workout!)
- Make sure you eat lots of protein. The norm is 1gm for every pound you weight but I say, drink your protein shake, eat your fish and you are golden.
- Track your progress from start to finish. No cheating!
You need to motivate yourself and start keeping score of the truth. Ask yourself if you really need to lose the weight and why? Once you have determined you are serious about health then go for it!
It takes about 21 days to form a habit. Get out of your comfortable bed at 5:00 a.m. or give yourself at least 1.5 hours in the morning to get this goal accomplished. Even if you start with mere 15 minutes in the morning - you will build momentum which will then form into a habit.
The advantage of working out in the morning, for me personally, is that I am done with that chore first thing. Then, in the evening if I have the time then I can always put a 2nd workout in if I want to (generally, you can split a 60 minute workout into 3×20 minutes through the day).
Allow yourself to see the results. Don’t focus on “oh it is hard”—instead focus on how great it feels to sweat or how fantastic you will feel (if not look) when you reach the goal.
Train your mind to get results. It is always your mind that helps or keeps you from manifesting your goals. Think right thoughts throughout the day. One of the things I did, a very long time ago was registered a phrase that I absolutely loved when I heard it the first time.
The phrase is “use mental assistance” my favourite fitness expert (Cathe) uses this phrase a lot. Then recently, I heard something else that just got me pumped. Many will recognize this one “keep pushing play!” or this one “do your best, and forget the rest!” These two are from Tony Horton - beachbody products.
Use motivators to keep you going. Trust me, when you start feeling sexy (although this is not about that, it is more about health, but one of the first things people notice is that they feel sexy!) you will know it was all worth it.
À votre santé
