Rapid Fat Loss—Day 5
Friday was a sad day! I heard late in the evening that one of my favourite newsman, Tim Russert, died suddenly. Oh gosh, what a time to go. How sad for his family and God I hope he is happy and in peace, where ever he is!
I am somewhat glad that I didn’t hear about Tim’s passing until after I was done with my day otherwise I would not have been able to continue with scheduled events. Gosh, I just lay there in bed, watching news in shock! And what’s worse, I heard about the passing on CNN (not MSNBC) because I just finished working out and I accidentally pressed CNN’s channel (I was looking for programs on Women’s TV Network).
Anyway, I only worked out once today - with Cathe’s Drill Max in the afternoon. What a workout that was! I swear these workouts make me sweat as if I have been running for 20 straight hours! I love it!
Had plenty to eat and within calories budgeted. I feel great and was certain to stay the course over the weekend until I heard the sad news. Then, I kept wondering why am I even bothering with all this (discipline)?
We are told to stay healthy, save money, take care of our selves because we will need our health and the money when we retire – and then wham! Out of nowhere, life is snuffed out of us and there is nothing we can do to cheat death!
So, I went to the grocery store and purchased ice cream — too right I am going to enjoy every food out there. But, just in case I do end up living upto 90, I decided to purchase something with half the calories skinny cow ice cream offers!
That product is Lemon Gelato by Dorgel. That’s only 60 calories per 0.5 cup! Wow!! At this rate, I can finish two tubs in one night (no … just kidding!! Well, I hope that I am—at least!). But I do plan to drown my sorrows in this dessert all weekend long! Gosh, what am I going to do on Sunday when “Meet The Press airs”???
